Why not setup a regular bug tracking program for tracking bugs?
Yeah, so when I have a character dialogue and I end it with a paranthetical I can't switch to action. Only Dialogue. Not sure if it's faux pas to do so and this is by design but doesn't seem like it should be.

Chris, supposedly it is a faux-pas, and so is by design, but there is a workaround, if slightly inconvenient: make an Action element after your dialogue first, then back up to the end of the dialogue, hit enter (you'll get a Character) and hit tab or "(" to switch to a parenthetical.

I'm still leaving this here, as it is perhaps an ongoing issue, however I've had precisely zero requests for the right-click option, and a fair bit of feedback saying people like the tabbing / enter between element types, and that those element types are only what's "allowed"... I guess I'm still looking for input to decide if this needs changing at some point.
