Some of us suddenly can't save or see changes

Ever since the Googlepocalypse, our experience using the app has gotten worse. At first it was fine, then one of our writers (using Chrome on a Mac) stopped being able to save changes or see changes saved by others without refreshing. Then, this past week, suddenly I am having the same problem (both on my Chromebook and my desktop Windows PC). This will intermittently happen to other writers for a few minutes, but it seems permanently broken for some users.

very sorry you're having problems here... Could you drop me an email at support@youmescript.com so I can try and sort out what's going on for you?

These are some known connection/reconnection issues I'm working on right now (yes, Sunday), including...
- Quick disconnections/interruptions are sometimes not reconnecting until the user is idle for around three minutes.
- There are a couple of issues around switching 'group-leader'
- Safari is not allowing collaboration with users in the same building/network. [This may not have a solution very soon, the workaround being to switch browser.]
- It's really hard for users to know what's going on and why.

Is there a way of getting around the idle boot btw?
