Inserting a Note can cause a problem

Post by MisterMcAtCCA »

I and my students have noticed that if we insert a Note that it must be between existing elements (Action, Character, Dialog, etc.). If a Note is inserted after the last element there seems to be no way to escape from the Note and continue with the script. If you do get 'trapped' in a note the only way we have found to escape is to right-click it and delete the note. So, we make sure we have already created the next element in our script and insert the Note above that.

Okay, I've worked out how to reproduce this... Notes are always 'inserted' before the element you're in, so when created, there is always be an element to follow (reachable by hitting down-arrow or clicking into it).

However, if you then delete the following element, you get stuck in the note.

I'll figure something out.

It's not a big issue and the work-around is easy, but it can cause frustration until you figure it out.

Not big, but also not a big fix. It'll release with some other stuff later today.
